Cool Rwanda Safari Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival Kigali , accommodation Chez Lando/Novotel

Day 2
departure for Butare :visit to National Museum, old King's palace at Nyanza, , accommodation Hotel Ibis Saturday

Day 3
Nyungwe forest trekking (chimps,colobus, orchids, waterfalls...) accommodation Peace Center Cyangugu
Day 4
drive from Cyangugu to Kibuye on Lake Kivu, visit of Kibuye church,Bisesero Memorial, accommodation Moriah Hills resort
Day 5
boat trip on Lake Kivu to Gisenyi,visit to project clubs in the area- accommodation Serena Kivu Day 6
visit of the area, then drive to Ruhengeri (Parc National des Volcans) , accommodation La Palme, Ruhengeri

Day 7
gorilla tracking in PNV, lakes Bulera and Ruhondo pm;accommodation La Palme Ruhengeri

Day 8
lake walk, then drive back to Kigali pm, accommodation Chez Lando/Novotel

Day 9 drive to Kibungo ( visit to club projects), Rusomo Falls and Imigongo factory , return to Kigali pm, accommodation Chez Lando/Novotel

Day 10
visit of Kigali,Gisozi Genocide Memorial , accommodation Chez Lando/Novotel

Day 11 MARATHON! accommodation Chez Lando/Novotel

Day 12 airport transfer for departure or extra day of visiting projects outside Kigali(to be determined ), accommodation Chez Lando/Novotel

Day 13
visits in Kigali, then airport transfer for evening departure.
